Greenway Runarounds features 3 miles of hiking trails near Boone, NC.<br />
This is a basic trail system that meanders through thick forests under beautiful tree canopies. There aren't any views, but it's great for a relaxing walk through the woods. It is a multi-use trail so watch out for mountain bikers.
If you drive to these trails...you can find somewhere better to drive to. Get to the greenway park, most of the trails are on the western side across the stream. One trail on the northern side descending from the powerline right of way.
